How we Work

Our dynamic financial planning process helps make complex issues simple and understandable so you can make appropriate decision and feel confident about your future. Our goal is to get you all the way home, not just today, but for the rest of your life.

  • 1. Schedule your no-cost 15-30-minute intro call

    In this initial 15-30-minute call we’ll first answer any questions you have about our practice.  But our relationship is about you, so we will spend most of this time learning more about you and the type of help you are searching for.  If we are a good fit, we will send you an engagement proposal, which explains the scope of our engagement, terms and conditions, and fees.

  • 2. Create a free WISE360 Personal Financial Portal account

    Once you decided to move forward with our services, you will need to create a free WISE360 Personal Financial Portal. This is the portal you will be using to organize your financial life, use guided process to enter your information, share documents between you and your financial planner... All in one place.  Securely. 

  • 3. Use guided process to enter your information securely

    During this process, you will enter your information about your family profile, financial goals, income, expenses. savings, etc. The more detail information you can provide, the better plan and recommendation we can provide to you. 

  • 4. Fill out pre-planning meeting/coach session questionnaire

    Fill out questionnaire at least 48 hours prior to your planning meeting or coaching session. We will use it to prep for your planning meeting or coaching session, so we can hit the ground-running and make the best use of our time (the time you are paying for, so it only makes sense for you to make the most of it :) 


    During this step, we may inquire additional information from you in addition to questionnaire, if it is needed for us to better assess your financial situation and provide you more personalized recommendation. 

  • 5. Planning meeting or coaching session

    For financial planning, this will be our first meeting. During this an hour conversion, we will dive deeper into your priorities, what is important to you, your financial aspirations, and review some initial findings from the data you have provided. We'll also answer any additional questions you have about a partnership with us.


    For coaching engagement, during the session, we will discuss your particular financial challenge(s), and dive right into your most pressing financial issues. We will show you what to do and how to go about changing your financial life. 

  • 6. Plan presentation meeting/post-coaching session follow up

    For financial planning engagement, plan presentation meeting will be our second meeting. At this meeting, we will review our recommendations with you in detail and answer any questions you might have. We may also present alternate scenarios and show the financial impact of various decisions.


    For financial coaching session engagement, we will follow up with a clear step-by-step action plan and recommendation that you can take to start making change for the better.

  • 7. Implementation & ongoing relationship

    After we have presented the plan, we can discuss options for continuing our relationship and just what responsibilities we have to implement, monitor and adjust the plan in the future. Some people like to take the information and do it themselves or have another advisor implement the recommendations, others prefer to just have us do everything for them. Either way we can go over the options for what our future relationship will look like and how much it will cost.
